Thin Lines is an American organization founded in Minnesota and legally registered to operate in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. We aim to transfer successful American experiences and expertise in community empowerment, supporting vulnerable groups, skills development, strengthening the rule of law, facilitating access to justice, and promoting environmental sustainability.
Our organization pursues a broad agenda, offering innovative services and initiatives in the Kurdistan Region to serve targeted groups and sectors. We are committed to ensuring that everyone has access to the knowledge, support, and opportunities needed to live with dignity and confidence in a progressive society aligned with global best practices.

Our mission is to transfer and adapt proven U.S. models of community empowerment to the local context. We work to strengthen support for vulnerable groups, enhance skills development, reinforce the rule of law, expand fair and equitable access to justice, and promote environmental protection. We provide comprehensive services to vulnerable groups in the community with the aim of empowering them, improving their quality of life, and ensuring they have fair and equal opportunities alongside others in society.
This activity provides all community members with the tools to protect their legal rights and access justice. It includes legal consultations, representation, community awareness on rights, and facilitating access to courts and legal texts. It ensures rights are safeguarded, equality before the law is promoted, and individuals can defend themselves against legal and social challenges.
This activity promotes a healthy and sustainable environment for all community members. It includes reforestation, waste management, environmental awareness campaigns, sustainable Agriculture, and pollution reduction initiatives. These programs help communities enjoy cleaner surroundings, conserve natural resources, and achieve long-term environmental sustainability.
